Chapter 12

I am being hunted right now by roger I feel like one of those pigs they hunt. He is hunting me with a double sided spear. I go to SamnEric
and Sam gives me a piece of meat cause I have no food and I'm hungry. Because Sam giving me meat he got beat up. I don't have much choice but I have to think quick.

Chapter 7

So today jack does not really want to go up the mountain and we get side tracked by some pig droppings so we go hunting. I'm really excited to try out how it feels to hunt and kill. We see a pig and we start to close in on it. We throw our spears and I hit it in the nose. I cant believe it I struck a pig with a spear. I love hunting I see now why jack loves doing it all the time.

In chapter 7 Ralph is starting act and think more like jack. He wants to hunt. So enough ralph and jack will become good friends. But the way everyone else has been acting I think this island might go to hell Ralph needs to step up and take control so jack doesn't get a head of him.

Chapter 10

I hope everyone is feeling the same way I feel right now cause what we did to Simon. We just attacked him it was brutal. Last night we just found out that Jack and his tribe raided us and took Piggys glasses now we cant start a fire. Everyone has gone crazy.

Chapter 11

So me Piggy, and Samneric decide enough was enough we are going to confront jack and his tribe to take back what is ours. They have taken piggy's specks so we cant make a fire for rescue. So we get over there and Roger throws rocks at the twins as a warning. We ask where jack is and they say he is out hunting. A few minutes later a figure come walking up and it is jack. I yell at him saying we need the specks and I call him a thief. He did not like that and we had a fight. A rock comes rolling up and knocks piggy of a cliff he lands on a rock. I cant believe he just died. I'm all by myself now cause piggy is dead and they have SamnEric.

Chapter 9

Me and piggy go over to the big feast jack is holding. When we get there jack and all the boys are painted and dressed like savages. They are sitting on the ground eating pig like animals. Jack is sitting up like he is a king. Like he is better and stronger than everyone there.

Jack tells them to invite our group into the feast and some of us go to eat. Jack has a big problem on his hand there is a storm that is coming and its a big one. He doesn't have any shelter and I tell him about it. He ignores me and tells the boys to do a dance. I think he has gone crazy and is going to take over this island.

We see a shadow and they say the beast wont scare us no more. We jump at it and push it over a ledge while going with it. we start punching, kicking and biting the beast. Until it stops fighting back. We have killed the beast.

Chapter 8

   Jack tries to question my leadership skills and tries to take over being chief. We take a vote again on who should be chief. They voted for me and jack felt mad and sad.

   He ran away and acted childish. Jack made everyone feel like they had to go with him cause he made them think the beast is real. And that they need Jacks protection. Jack has all the hunters on his sides so they feel like they need them for protection.

Most of the boys ran off in the middle of the night to jacks side. Because they felt scared and wanted to feel safe. They also went over to jacks side cause he has pig meat and they want to eat pig.

Symbol

The conch shell is a shell that ralph found when they first got to the island. The conch shell is important to the boys they use it for the meeting. They blow into it to call for a meeting and whoever is holding it during the meeting get to speak. The conch shell symbolize society and civilization. Ralph uses the conch shell the most.

 

The beast is the boys figure of imagination. The beast represents fear and the unknown. Some of the kids think it's a real monster in the jungle. Ralph and piggy thinks it's not real. Simon thinks the beastie is inside the kids. No one knows what the beastie really is.

 

The huts are the boys protection. The huts symbolize home because that is their only home. When they are in the huts they feel as safe as the would feel if they were back home. The huts are used by all the boys.

 

 

 

 

Diary Chapter 4

 This is the last straw I'm sick and tired of people not doing their job. While me Piggy, and Simon were standing together looking out into the water. We see a boat and get happy cause we are going to get rescued and we look back and see that there is no smoke, the fire went out. So we went running up there to see why there is no fire and to find out they caught a pig. So this got me really mad and I feel like no one anymore cares about getting of this island. Everyone just wants to hunt and kill, jack is a really bad influence on everyone.

 I'm still mad at them but happy we get to enjoy a pig tonight. So when jack was handing out meat to everyone he skipped piggy. Piggy was confused on why he didn't get any meat and goes to confront jack and jacks says you don't need any meat look at you. This gets piggy mad and piggy yells at him and jack punches him in the gut and slaps him across the face. So right now I don't know what to think of jack he made a bad decision on slapping piggy cause his glass went flying and one lenses broke on a rock.

 Simon Rushes over to help him up, he was the only one. Simon shared some of his pig with him because he is a nice guy that felt bad for him. This was the most stressful day on the island that I think we will ever have.

The Beastie

 

The characters in the Lord of the Flies have different views on "The Beastie". Jack is obsessed with killing the beastie he loves killing anything he can. He does not care about anything else but killing. The Littluns are the most scared of the beastie cause they are little and don’t understand fake from real. Ralph I feel make the most sense out of all of them, there is no beastie and it does not exist. Same as Piggy does not believe it exist because of science. Simon I think is the craziest he says that the beastie is in all of us and we are the beastie.

 I think that Ralph and Piggy are correct. The beastie does exist cause there might be other creature to be afraid of but there is no giant snake or creature that they need to be afraid of. The beastie is just in the minds, all of their imagination.

Diary Chapter 3

 While I was standing by the palm trees jack comes up to me and ask for some for some water. I told him there should be some left by the tree. I feel like no one cares about helping out, I feel like I'm the only one doing work. Except for Simon and jack cause the Littluns don’t do anything except play. We have all these meeting and I feel they are useless and does not mean anything to them. No one cares about being rescued, all jack cares about is killing a pig every second he says I will get that pig one day. 

  We have a meeting and notice that Simon is not here, so we brush it off ,and later on we notice no one has seen him. We go looking for him and we first to go look at the bathing pool, we didn’t find him there. I remember that he told us that he was going to the forest to get fruit from the tree's. He might of went a little farther in to the dark part of the jungle looking for fruit. It's getting dark so we have to head back and look for Simon tomorrow.

  As for Piggy I feel like he has been getting a little lazy these past few days. He has been acting more like the Littluns all they do is swim and don’t do their job. Piggy's job is to get everyone's name and keep track where they are going and where everyone is at all times.

Chapter 2 Diary

 Today I have called for a meeting with the conch shell and every came to the platform. While I was talking Jack decide cut me off even though I had the conch and that was our number one rule. So I put it down on my lap to listen to what jack had to say. Then Piggy lifts it off my lap and everyone stops talking. I tell jack to sit down and he does. It took piggy a little to get out what he has to say, but when he got it out it was important he was saying we don’t have anything and we need to work together to get stuff done.

  Jack ask for the shell, "finally he is following the rules" said in my head. Jack says that there is food and water down by the river. When I was holding the conch a little boy comes up to me asking for the shell and everyone starts laughing so I hand it to him and he says he saw a beastie a snake thing. That one thing that kid said scared everyone. I get the conch shell back and jack interrupts me and says let's build a fire and everyone runs off with jack to build a fire

  They build a fire and it goes well for day people have shifts to watch the fire and make sure that it stays in place and does not spread. It was the littluns turns to watch it and they get distracted. They run off to the bathing pool to have fun. And that day the fire spread to the jungle and the whole entire half of the island was on fire. I was really mad cause no one does their job so I called for a meeting. And I freak out and yell at everyone cause they couldn’t do one job.

Conch Shell

The conch shell is a shell that ralph found when they first got to the island. The conch shell is used as a horn to call the other boys for a meeting. The conch shell is very important in their meetings whoever holds can speak and no one else is allowed and can only listen. Ralph uses the shell whenever he needs all of the boys in one place in a quick amount of time. The conch shell symbolizes society and voting.

 

Diary Chaper 1

  Today I crashed landed on what I think is an island. I don't know how many people have survived, so far its just me. I just met up with a kid I don't know his name yet. we swam in the water and told each other stories about our life. He kept talking about his auntie I told him that my dad will save us. Then he tells me a story about how people called him piggy I broke out in laughter it was so funny. So since I found him their most be more survivors I grab a conshell  and blow into in maters of minutes kids come out of the jungle. Then this one group comes out, their leader jack, they are called the choir boys. Me and him want to be the leader so we have to show the kids who is better for the leader postilion

D-Day Journal

  William Golding was affected by being a part of D-Day because he saw that any human being is capable of Mass killings and so many of his fellow soldiers died in battle. He is lucky he survived that horrific battler on the beach. If I was put through something like that I would come out next da a different person who has a new view on my mankind. He question the goodness in mankind because of what he experienced about what we are capable of doing to each other. I think every human is born with evilness and if not treated right they will become a bad person but if they are cared for and taught right from wrong. If humans were born with good then why do we have bad people in this world.
